About the Plans
Consolidated Plans
The Cites of Waterloo and Cedar Falls are each currently developing their own five-year Consolidated Plans to guide investments in community and economic development, affordable housing, and homelessness assistance programs across the cities.
Fair Housing Study
In addition to independent Consolidated Plans, Waterloo and Cedar Falls are working together to develop a joint Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice, which will look at whether everyone has similar choices for housing regardless of their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), religion, disability, or whether they have children.
